Software as a Service
SAAS
So, umm, what is a SAAS?
Well, Salesforce gives a good definition here. SAAS, or software as a service, is a set of applications you can use from virtually any hardware or operating system. I use them all of the time. Most of them have a free version for low-volume users or people just trying them out.
How do you pronounce it?
I’ve heard both “sass” and s-a-s-s. Problematic, if you ask me.
Regardless, using SAAS apps allows me to get things done easier and faster.
Below are a few most suited to learning content.
BTW, if you don’t see your favorite software here, it doesn’t mean anything. Either I don’t use it, or don’t know about it. Drop me a line. 🙂
Notion — Database, content management
Notion says:
- One workspace. Every team.
- Customize Notion to work the way you do.
- Team up without the chaos.
Unbelievable database app. Allows databases inside databases. And much more. I use it to organize my work, hang on to articles and resources I want to find later, organize the files I have and keep them safe.
Easy to start, challenging to be a power user. Give yourself some time. I found Notion Mastery to be (way) worth the investment.

Successful learning content is simple and easy for the learner’s brain to suss out. This helps.
